PTA Committee

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization, working for the progress of the college. All the parent/guardian shall be a member of the association and when a student leaves the college his guardian also ceases as a member. The principal and all members of the teaching staff of the college shall be the member of the Association.

Aim

Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is a formal organization that consists of parents, teachers and staff that is intended to facilitate parental participation in the College. The goal of all Parent-Teacher Association is to support their college, encourage parent involvement, support teachers, and organize events

 

Functions

  • To promote the welfare of children, in the school, home, and in the community.
  • To create better understanding between parents and teachers.
  • To help parents and teachers to adopt themselves to the changing concepts of society.
  • To foster and promote good relationship among the members of the teaching staff, students and guardians of the students.
  • To create in its members keen interest for the smooth working and the progress of the college and for maintaining good discipline and high academic standards
  • To institute scholarships, prizes, medal etc., to benefit students showing a high proficiency in their studies
  • To provide some amenities to the students of this College.
