The Internal Quality Assessment Cell (IQAC) of our college plans the modalities to ensure that whatever is done in the institution for ‘education’ is done efficiently and effectively with high standards.Primary aim of IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
Attendance : A candidate must have minimum 80% attendance in both theory and practical separately in each subject for appearing University examinations. A candidate shall complete 100% attendance in each of the practical area before the award of degree.
Internal Marks : Calculation of internal marks shall be based on the ongoing and continuous assessment for both theory and practical. A candidate must score minimum 50% internal marks for theory and practical separately in each subject in order to appear University Examinations.
Regular University examinations for theory and practical will be conducted at the end of each academic year and supplementary examinations will be conducted after regular examination once in a year.The duration of the course is four years. The maximum period to complete the course successfully shall not exceed 8 years (double the duration of course).
Teachers along with the students of their concerned class meet quarterly, to evaluate the teaching learning process.
Question Paper Scrutiny Committee
Question paper scrutiny committee ensures the quality of internal exams and the marks allotted to the students. It safeguards the quality of examination procedures. Internal examinations are conducted in the same pattern as that of University exams.
Grievance and Redressal Cell
The function of the cell is to look into the complaints lodged by any student and judge its merit. The grievance redressal committee is also empowered to look into the matters of harassment. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the department members in person. In case if the person unwilling to appear himself/ herself, grievance may be dropped in writing at the letter box/ suggestion box of the grievance cell. Grievance may also be send through email to the faculty-in-charge of the students’ grievance and redressal cell.
Malpractices and Lapses Committee
The committee will take effective remedial measures, if academic malpractices and personal misconducts are reported.
A student friendly mentoring system is actively functioning in our institution with a maximum of 10 students under a teacher. It empowers students to become autonomous learners and agents of their own change
